Buddy Carter questions Zuckerberg over elephant tusk sales of Facebook, video piracy

Georgia Congressman Buddy Carter asks Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at a data privacy hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee whether Zuckerberg was aware that conservation groups have provided evidence to the Securities and Exchange Commission that endangered wildlife goods like ivory were extensively traded on closed groups in Facebook, Zuckerberg not aware but acknowledging the need for more proactive monitoring. Carter says the groups believe so much ivory was being sold on Facebook it was contributing to the extinction of the elephant species, asking if Zuckerberg new about piracy in movies and products known for a long time sought by the Motion Picture Association of America, Carter concluded he did know that.
