Banksy Artworks Go To Auction In Auckland

Three works by the anonymous street artist Banksy are being auctioned in Auckland. The auction is a rare opportunity for art collectors, with only one other Banksy piece thought to have been offered for sale in New Zealand before. The numbered screen prints of Golf Sale, Weston Super Mare and Soup Can are being sold by a private New Zealand collector who is selling them locally due to COVID-19 and the difficulty travel restrictions would pose on selling the artworks overseas.
