Haring The Baton Key To Future Victory Say Japan’s Relay Race Winners
Seated from left to right during a September 13 press conference held in Rio, Hajimu Ashida, Keita Sato, Tomoki Tagawa and Atsushi Yamamoto, credited team-building on the personal level for their bronze medal finish in the men’s 400-meter relay event at the Rio Paralympic Games. With new runners waiting for their chance in the wings, the four stressed that teamwork is key to nurturing new winners in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. The United States team which finished first in the 400-meter competition was disqualified, moving the Japanese team up to their bronze medal finish.
