Cathy Freeman's Sydney Olympic Gold Medal Projected Onto Sydney Opera House Sails

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - SEPTEMBER 25, 2020: The projection celebrating Cathy Freeman's historic 400m gold medal win at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games was created by the National Film and Sound Archive in partnership with the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage. The world-first project uses emerging DNA data storage technology to preserve moving images for long term archival purposes. It is also the first Australian video to be encoded on DNA.
