Garden Borders and Archway of Roses

Hosta, an archway of pink Mme Gregoire Staechlin roses, begonias and hebes grow on borders either side of a curved paved garden path. Originally built as three dwellings, the 18th century cottage of Oive Salaman has several terraces and a sloped garden that appears boundless and to continue into the adjacent valley.
