Passengers and merchants embark on a barge on the Congo river, in Mbandaka, in northern DR Congo on September 9, 2018. - On May 25, 2019, 45 people died in a boat disaster in western DR Congo when a vessel capsized in choppy conditions on Lake Mai-Ndombe.
