Salvador Dali with Clown Playing Violin

(Original Caption) Surrealist painter Salvador Dali, Master of Ceremonies here at Bal des Petits Lits Blancs (Ball of the Little White Beds), "inspires" the music of clown-violinist Claude Laroche on May 5th. The charity affair was held in the vast exposition palace on Paris' South Side. During the festivities, Dali delivered a lecture on the merits of rhinoceros horn while standing on a steel crane.
