Milk Drinking At A Bank

The Commissionaire handing out the daily milk ration to workers at the United Dominions Trust, Ltd, King William Street, London. Milk is now being supplied to the 700 staff at a halfpenny a half-pint and the innovation is popular. One of the functions of this bank is to aid agriculture by providing credit for the purchase of livestock and farm equipment and it is appropriate that the bank employees should give another slight aid to the farmers.
