UK - Airbus - A380 on the runway

The new Airbus A380 double deck airliner is a looming presence on the runway as it is displayed during the Farnborough Airshow. The crowds were impressed by the sight of this graceful 555 seater superjumbo, but Airbus are facing huge challenges with its development. There have been problems with the 312 miles of electrical wiring on each plane. This has caused a two-year delay that could cost the company £2.8bn (£1.9bn).
